Mountain Bird Stream New Single The Visitor

Released this Friday 23rd May, Swedish indie dream-pop outfit Mountain Bird have graced our review pages before and now they’re back with latest track The Visitor having recently being signed to Universal Music Group.

Written, arranged and produced by their lead man, Adam Öhman, band mates Anders Erlandsson Öberg, Victor Jonsson, Dennis Fyhr and Sam Ekberg do a sterling job of creating this alluring frost-tinged soundscape that expertly combines atmospheric ambience with post-rock introspection.

Although one of many dream-pop acts currently making a break for it from Scandinavia, Mountain Bird bring a tough to pinpoint unique warmness to their otherwise cold Northern sound that just about pokes their head above the pack. Very nice indeed.

The Visitor will be available for sale and download everywhere on 23rd May, with the Cosmos II EP to be dropped shortly after on the 11th June via Universal Music Group.
