Make Way For Frank Turner’s Mongol Horde

Oh happy joyous day – we knew you would arrive sooner or later! Some good news for rawk fans as former Million Dead man turned folk troubadour Frank Turner has revealed the first track from his new band Mongol Horde, and it’s a leviathan.

In a somewhat 180 degree move it would appear Turner has a scratch that blue collar folk just can’t itch – a scratch made of riffs, huge bastard riffs, and loads of blood curdling screaming. Excellent.

Their self titled debut album will be out on May 26 via Xtra Mile Recordings, followed by tour dates to be announced shortly (including Reading & Leeds festivals).

Welcome back Frank, we missed you. Don’t ever pick up an acoustic guitar again.
