Listen: Gallows – Chains

Unveiled last night as part of BBC Radio One Rock Week and ahead of their Download Festival performance this weekend, here’s the meaty new single from Gallows.

‘Chains’ is all swagger and throat ripping screams juxtaposed with orchestral chants – a dark, poetic, slice of gothic punk that leans more towards Grey Britain era material whilst also bringing a new, metal-edged slant to proceedings.

Serving as a welcome taster of what’s to come from a band striding towards their own sound and leaving the past where it belongs, we can’t wait to hear more new material from the quartet.
