Ex The Chariot Man Reveals New Project 68

In a typically anarchic gesture, Josh Scogin of The Chariot’s new duo ’68 are releasing a single that you can only listen to by synchronising the two youtube videos below.

A cool idea, but prepare to kiss goodbye to your sanity as you try to make these puppies play in time. Their debut album ‘In Humor And Sadness’ is set for digital release on 7th July followed by a full UK release on 18th August and if this new track is anything to go by it’s a much more stripped back, punky affair than any of his previous material – not to mention considerably more approachable and much less jump-off-a-building-and-smash-up-a-venue.

“The hope is that someone will have one computer and invite a friend over that has another computer” explains Scogin ” then they will spend several minutes struggling and laughing at trying to sync up the 2 videos perfectly.”

“Once they have watched it they’ll think, ‘Well, we might as well grab a bite to eat,'” he states. “Before you know it their friendship has grown ever so slightly. Or who knows, maybe this is the perfect way to break the ice with that special someone that you have been nervous about calling up.“
