Resurfaced is the first song to come from Glasgow electro-rock duo Zephon. A slow and emotional love song with a strong metaphor running through it, Resurfaced is a powerful and moving debut.
Waves crash onto the shore for a stirring intro before composer Tony Malek’s keyboard melody comes in, followed by songwriter Vivienne Farris’ strong vocals. The theme of love’s redemptive powers comes through clearly as the track develops, the pace rising and the vocals building beautifully into a stirring chorus.
Resurfaced is a lovely song that has an epic feel to it, emotive and inspiring. And the video (above) is very well put together, bringing the track to life nicely. Zephon are clearly a talented duo and the early fruits of their collaboration are very promising indeed.
