Cold War Kids Announce Fifth Studio Album

I’ll be honest, this news excites me just a little bit. Cold War Kids have confirmed the release of their fifth studio album, out October through Downtown / Sony RED. Plus, the album’s explosive lead single, ‘All This Could Be Yours’ premiered on Steve Lamacq’s 6Music show and is available to stream and buy from iTunes today.

Have a listen and see why I’m so excited.

Formed in 2004, the band’s breakthrough debut Robbers & Cowards was released to considerable acclaim in 2006. The darker Loyalty To Loyalty followed two years later, while 2011’s Mine Is Yours introduced deeper anthemic qualities to the eclectic group’s catalog. 2013’s Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, featuring the hit single “Miracle Mile,” was a return to their raw live sound.

They are playing American festival shows across the summer as well as a US tour in the autumn but UK dates and more album details will be released soon!
