The Mercy Beat Stream Debut EP In Full

US based trio The Mercy Beat (presumably a clever twist on the Mersey Beat movement) released their eponymous debut EP earlier this year in the States to a slew of praise from the heavy hitters and hype-machiners.

Now, they’re planning on hitting UK shores with their international line up that includes members from Hong Kong, Hawaii and New York City.

The band also has a not-so-secret-weapon in the form of Sam Endicott, ex-frontman of The Bravery and writer of songs for the likes of Shakira and Christina Aguilera.

No wonder this three-track is jam packed full of sugar-coated synth-pop pulling in aspects of The Cure, Velvet Underground and several chart smash-hits that was more than enough to prick up our ears. You can stream the full thing below.
