Fresh Chops today from Whyte Horses, a psychedelic lo-fi outfit who’ve come up with one of the most infuriatingly catchy earworms we’ve heard for a while.
The result of an obscure Mancunian music chronologist on a three month sojourn in the heart of the Italian countryside, Whyte Horses is the product of a love of battered analogue recording gear and cheap instruments, all wrapped up with some trippy female vocals and a good helping of folk-rock wanderings. It’s dreamy, dark, brooding and thought provoking – what more could you want?
New single The Snowfalls will have it’s eerie refrain of “just keep on running, for the morning” whirling round your head for hours after you’ve heard it – don’t believe us? Check it out below.
‘The Snowfalls’ is the first fruit from the forthcoming debut album from Whyte Horses and will be birthed into public consciousness via CRC Music on 22nd September 2014.
