Fresh Chops: Purple

Take the Beastie Boys, pump them full of Red Hot Chili Peppers steroids and shake the hips of Iggy Pop over proceedings and what have you got? Fresh Chops from Texan trio Purple, that’s what.

The band have just announced the release of their debut album ‘(409)’ on November 10th through Play it Again Sam and will be swinging by the UK again this October with The Subways. Glorious.

Gritty, somewhat sleazy pop music with more than a hint of Mary Jane-haze about it, these unashamedly catchy little numbers have us impressed so far.
