A Quick Chat With Millers Daughter

We caught up with country twins Millers Daughter earlier this week for a chinwag to find out what makes these girls tick. They sing the sort of big, bright and breezy, country-tinged pop songs that you thought they didn’t make anymore and hit the ground running with their ltd edition single release ‘Since You Left’ and now twin sisters Christie and Louise Miller have announced the release date of their second single ‘Undeniable’ as August 25th. The album, ‘So Hollywood’ will also be released on Aug 25th.

When we first started playing music…
We couldn’t put our guitars down and life became very noisy for our parents.

If we had to choose a new name for the band it would be…
‘Twin Peaks’ …for obvious reasons.

We knew we were onto something when…
We found colonel Mustard in the dining room, with a candlestick.

Our biggest non-musical influences are…
Weener pod, our cat! She’s an inspiration all on her own, beautiful little fluff baby.

We’re most proud of…
The squatchers on finding Bigfoot, they keep a positive mental attitude, even though they haven’t found him yet…

Our ideal support slot would be…
Fleetwood Mac because well, it’s Fleetwood Mac!

Something we haven’t achieved yet which we’d like to is…
A world record for most doughnuts eaten without licking our lips, that and a well received album.

Our favourite place to hang out is…
In the tree at the bottom of your garden.

We can’t stop listening to…
That Cravendale advert, you know, the one with the biscuit boy with chocolate hair! And his head falls off, have a listen – the song freaks us out.

We’re not ashamed to admit that…
We don’t bother buying each other birthday presents; must be a twin thing.
