Well, hasn’t James Vincent McMorrow gone up in the world – not content with a regular old lighting engineer he’s using 3D mapping technology. Suck on that U2.
The new video for ‘Look Out’ shows off the lighting and 3D mapping that James will be using on his forthcoming tour which features a UK date at Shepherds Bush Empire on October 5th.
The tour follows recent album Post Tropical, which was album of the week on Radio 1 and 6Music and lead to a sell-out European tour as well as performances at Latitude, Coachella and 2 sold-out nights at Sydney Opera House over the summer.
We still don’t really know what 3D mapping is and we sure as hell can’t be bothered to find out, but it looks real pretty and goes well with this sumptuous single so we’ll leave it at that.
