A mixed blessing from our Fresh Chops column today with this beautiful hip hop track from Praverb addressing the passing of his mother, his unborn child and his pregnant partner.
This intelligent and pathos-filled track is available as a free download and made all the more poignant that as we came across it on a Soundcloud trawl today we found out Praverb had sadly passed away himself earlier this week.
It brings a crushing reality to the plight of a new father and a struggling musician with a searing honesty and a passion that puts many of the submissions we receive in a starkly self-indulgent light.
We were truly touched by this today and we hope you are too.
