What more could you want on a Monday morning than some tribal, organic dance music played by a jazz-schooled three piece? You can’t say we’re not open minded at Glasswerk, and this new offering from Moon Hooch just blew our minds into a thousand tiny pieces.
This quirky Brooklyn cut their teeth busking the Subway platforms and are all professional musicians who decided to take the pass less travelled and work on this unique, twisted take on electronic music that squeaks and shrieks with all the glorious warmth of brass instruments being pushed to their limits.
Already drawing comparisons to Melt Yourself Down, Snack Family and Lotus the band will be hitting the UK later this month for a run of three dates – if you’ve got any sense you’ll get yourself down there and experience one of the most intriguing and exciting new prospects we’ve heard in quite some time. Open your mind.
Their new EP ‘Eat Your Veggies’ is due for release October 13th via Megaforce.
