Are Roughneck Riot Reinventing Punk In New Video?

Warrington folk-punks Roughneck Riot hit the road on a UK & EU headline tour this week in support of their new album ‘Out Of Anger’ released on 13th October via legendary Manchester punk zine-turned-record-label, TNS Records – preorder here.

To celebrate, they’re revealing the video for ‘Parasites’ – the first single to be taken from the album – and you can also download the track for free here.

‘Parasites’ is a no nonsense folk punk romp from start to finish, a biting political satire that addresses xenophobia and social anxiety in the UK, front man Matty Humphries railing against poverty as he laments “One less drain on our poor government, more cash to bail out sh*t businessmen, trying their best to clear a nation’s debt, crimes against humanity slip right through the net.”
