This brand new offering from Mont Oliver caught our attention today for a variety of reasons, but mostly because we loved the fact that it resembles Kanye’s Bound 2 being covered by Massive Attack, saved from being utterly depressing by lead singer Jacob Hammershøj’s distinctive vocal squawks.
The Danish indie trip-hop trio are giving away their debut track ’19’, available to stream and download for free on Soundcloud, below.
Currently residing in Copenhagen, Hammershøj is joined by Niels Christian Sommer and Mads Bernt Pedersen, with their incredibly futuristic take on a bastardized, alternative electro-hip-hop sure to be turning heads soon.
The ’19’ EP will be officially released and available for FREE DOWNLOAD on 17th November via Fake Diamond Records.
