Here’s a nice looking new video from Damien Rice for his new single ‘I Don’t Want Change You’ – it looks very expensive, but doesn’t it look a lot like that James Blunt video for ‘Beautiful’ eh?
Remember that one? Where James gets all moody in the rain and then jumps off a cliff? Why couldn’t that be real James? Also Damien, minus loads of points for not making a Titanic reference as you slipped slowly under the lapping waves.
We can’t help feel that after Blunt’s daredevil leap this is a bit of a cop out though. You don’t release any material for 7 years and you won’t even throw yourself off a cliff for your art? Never mind changing me, you’ve changed Damien. You used to be edgy. Oh…wait..carry on!
‘I Don’t Want To Change You’, which is released 27 Oct on Atlantic Records
