Fresh Chops: Morning Smoke

We first spoke to Morning Smoke over 18 months ago and, as always, we’re pleased to see them going from strength to strength as the likes of NME, Clash and Q Magazine all fall into line to sing their praises.

‘Hunger’ is the new single from the Brighton quartet and will be released 1st December.

Comparisons to Sonic Youth and Interpol abound but there’s also a dash of Dinosaur Jr, heavier elements of The Cure and a rumbling stomach-churner of a bassline that points towards an angstier, swagger-ridden Kasabian (not the shit bits, the bits that make you go oooooossshh).
