C Duncan Signs To Fat Cat Records

This new one from Fat Cat Records latest signing C Duncan caught our ear today – his debut single ‘For’ is taken from his forthcoming LP due to drop in summer 2015.

The single will be available as a free digital download in November and carries a hint of Duncan’s roots in Scotland – a sense of freedom and space present throughout, as the rolling melodies interlace playfully over sparse, folky instrumentation.

Citing influence from Burt Bacharach, this old school approach to atmospheric, emotive pop shines through on the single, giving it a depth rarely matched in today’s quick turnover culture.
