Here’s a new one to crowbar a smile onto your face from Jordan Klassen – far from the gloomy title, latest track ‘Firing Squad’ could charm a corpse from the grave.
This sumptuous, multi-layered folk-pop from the young Canadian has seen him rising quickly on the other side of the Atlantic. Having already released a full-length debut album, ‘Repentance’, Firing Squad combines alt folksy somberness with haunting bursts of energy.
The emerging Canadian star also lends his vocals to a cover of HAIM’s song ‘Falling’ as the b-side for the new single.
