2014 has barely had time to gear up for Christmas but we’re already hammering on the back door of 2015’s festival season and awash with updates from some of the best that the UK has to offer. Here’s a quick recap on what you might have missed this month:
BoomTown Fair 2015
The Mayoress has been kidnapped and the citizens of BoomTown are left without a leader. Everything hangs in the balance until they learn her fate…
This was how things were left at the end of the 2014 Fair – their underpinning storyline gives a special degree of immersion to BoomTown giving them scope to mix cowboys with pirates, and aliens with Aztec temples across their 20 themed main stages, plus the countless smaller shop fronts and hidden beach and forest parties. Chapter 7 will take place from 13th – 16th August 2015 at the Matterley Estate, Hampshire, UK.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday 4th November at 7pm via the BoomTown website from £120 (+BF & Eco bond) www.boomtownfair.co.uk
2000Trees Festival
2000trees Festival has introduced a monthly instalment scheme for their 2015 outing, giving music fans the chance to buy tickets at last year’s prices for a limited time. With a cosy five thousand music lovers gathering to enjoy the very best new and underground rock and indie music on six stages, plus comedy, DJs, silent disco, and quality food, drink and market stalls featuring products from around the world, the festival takes place in the picturesque Cotswolds next July 9-11 and plans are in place to ensure the ninth festival is better than ever.
Two day tickets are just £9.50 per month for 8 months (£76) and three-day tickets are £11.50 per month (£92), if you sign up by November 30 – full details are available at www.twothousandtreesfestival.co.uk/tickets
