Introducing: The Slow Show
Manchester’s music scene might just be getting a new lease of life from The Slow Show, whose new single ‘Dresden’ is released 15th December on Haldern Pop Recordings.
Inspired by the band’s adventures while visiting the city on tour, this is the first single to be taken from White Water, The Slow Show’s long-awaited debut album due for release March 2015.
These beautifully crafted, piano-led Americana offerings owe much to the gravelly tones of Tom Waits, Iggy Pop and Nick Cave, with gargantuan choruses recalling The National swelling to stadium-filling proportions.
Heartbreak never sounded so good, the North West will be awash with tears in no time once the secret gets out on this lot.
