MTV Brand New 2015 Shortlist Announced

MTV Brand New 2015 have announced this year’s shortlist featuring the ten biggest acts set to take the industry and charts by storm next year. The contenders for MTV Brand New 2015 will be celebrated at a VIP launch event on 1st December at DSTRKT, London, which will see MTV Brand New 2014 act Kwabs performing, plus additional names yet to be confirmed.

As part of last year’s shortlist, London future soul singer Kwabs said: “Being chosen as part of the MTV Brand New list was great, I performed at the Showcase at the start of this year and it’s great to be back for the launch of 2015. I’m a big fan of Sinead Harnett, who is on the shortlist this year.”

Public voting to decide the winner of this year’s competition will open on 1st December. After two months of battling it out to find the winner, MTV Brand New 2015 will host two showcase gigs early next year before the winner is announced on 30th January.
