Introducing: Hey Colossus

Do you like towering walls of distortion? The sort of noises that make small children cry and animals flee their natural habitat? Welcome to the murky, discordant world of Hey Colossus – you’re going to like it here.

Replete with splashes of psych and more than a few nods to the avantgarde end of the spectrum, the band have announced details of their new album In Black & Gold, which is set to be released on Rocket Recordings on Monday 9th February 2015.

Almost unbelievably this is apparently their eighth studio album, which begs the question: when the noise they make is so loud and this good, how have we never heard it before? Luckily, you’ll be able to find out for yourself in February when they hit the road on a headline tour in support of the album release.

Watch the album teaser video here:

FEBRUARY 2015 live dates:
6th Bristol Exchange
7th London Lexington
14th Brighton Green Door
18th Birmingham Flapper
19th Newcastle Head of Steam
20th Edinburgh Bannerman’s
21st Nottingham Sona Studios
