Another busy week in festival news this week with some great announcements from international favourites and some of the best small festivals on offer in the UK, spanning all genres and a multitude of countries. Whether its rock in the sun, folk in the country or dance in the snow – we’ve got you covered!

Snowbombing 2015

The line-up for Snowbombing 2015 has welcomed another wave of acts to the already jam-packed bill including Carl Craig, Andy C, Idris Elba, Waze and Odyssey, PBR STREETGANG, The Cuban Brothers, Citizen, Ejeca, one half of Optimo J G Wilkes, Amsterdam’s finest Job Jobse, Dirty Bird co-founder Justin Martin, Hotlflush boys Dense and Pika, drum and bass and jungle favourite Randall, Bristol heavyweight Artifact and London based production duo Wayward.

If dancing the night away to a picturesque alpine backdrop, listening to some of the world’s most groundbreaking music acts, relaxing in a luxury spa or just skiing on the fresh white snow appeals, then join Snowbombing for what’s set to be the most incredible year yet.

Since its foundation, by:Larm has slowly but surely developed from a small industry conference into a fully-fledged music festival, to the point where it is currently Scandinavia’s biggest festival showcase for new Nordic talent. International Feel will comprise 15 international artists, out of a total of around 100 acts, performing at by:Larm 2015. The first three names announced for International Feel! at by:Larm 2015 Are East India Youth, Deers and SOAK.

Camp Bestival 2015

Camp Bestival Goes Wild for 2015! Rob da Bank says: “Calling all wild boys and wild girls…oh yes my wild friends and family, prepare to get down and dirty at Camp Bestival 2015 as we dump the technology and scramble into the woods for a back to nature escape from normality. Cambridge Folk Festival 2015

Tickets for next year’s Cambridge Folk Festival, one of the longest established and most prestigious folk festivals in the world, will go on sale on Monday December 1st. The first artists confirmed for next year’s bill are due to be announced in early 2015.

Tickets: Full Festival £150; Thursday £25.50; Friday £55.50; Saturday £65.50; Sunday £65.50. Camping: (Full Festival tickets only, per 2-3 berth tent) Cherry Hinton £61.50, Coldham’s Common (second site) £42.50. All ticket prices include booking fees.

Ramblin’ Man Fair 2015

Ramblin’ Man Fair will bring the best of Classic Rock, Progressive Rock, Country and Blues to Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent over the weekend of 25th and 26th July 2015. Acts announced include Ian Anderson plays the best of Jethro Tull, Pendragon, Riverside, The Pineapple Thief, Messenger

The festival will take place in the beautiful Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent – the garden of England. Day tickets are released on Friday 28th November 2014.

Takedown Festival 2015

Mallory Knox have been revealed as the headliners for the fourth edition of Takedown, now an essential date in the UK indie/alternative summer festival diary. Except it’s in March. Which is where we like it. Taking place in the heart of the thriving live music metropolis that is Southampton, Takedown Festival has proven itself year after year as the perfect appetiser for the whirlwind that is the UK festival season, and judging by the last 3 years it’s a date definitely not to be missed.
