New Found Glory - The Forum
Live Review

New Found Glory – The Forum, London

From the minute New Found Glory took to the stage and belted out Understatement the crowd was hyped and ready for a good night. As always, these boys did not disappoint. Rattling through a set list jam packed with crowd favourites including Something I Call Personality, Hit or Miss and Failure’s Not Flattering there wasn’t a single low point. They even squeezed in a couple of tracks off the new album, Resurrection.

Anyone who’s seen this band perform will know it’s a high energy show from beginning to end and this time was no different with the audience bouncing off the ceiling all the way through. The, now, four piece played as if their lives depended on it and put on one of the most memorable shows I’ve ever seen from them proving that a tough year (to put it kindly) hasn’t held them back or down.

A surprise appearance from Hayley Williams of Paramore for My Friends Over You was a delight to everyone in the room and she bounced around like a Duracell bunny before being hoisted high onto the shoulders of Chad Gilbert for a turn around the stage.
With eight full length albums and a handful of EPs to choose their set list from there is always the chance not everyone is going to be happy all of the time. This can’t have been the case tonight, with hit after hit and not a single lull everyone went out into the night on a high. Pop Punk certainly won’t die while New Found Glory stick around.

Venue: The Forum, London
Support Band: Only Rivals, Candy Hearts, State Champs, The Story So Far
