Fresh Chops today from Jennie Abrahamson with her tribal infused neo-classical electronica mishmash ‘The War’.
Currently on tour supporting Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel (as you do) on his mammoth world tour, covering 9 countries over the next month, she fills in for Kate Bush live onstage with Peter Gabriel on his famous hit Don’t Give Up.
Can’t argue with those credentials can you? It’s easy to see why as her hypnotic and powerful vocal washes over this transcendental offering that ripples with the influence of world music but manages to plant one foot firmly in the futurism of the latest wave of electronica.
The War is the first single from Jennie’s upcoming new LP Gemini Gemini, due to be dropped in Spring 2015.
