Dalton, aka Nate Harar, is a name you might be hearing a lot more of in 2015.
A scuffed-up American dreamer on the very cusp of releasing his first record in the UK, you can check out his debut single ‘Only Names’ below. Born in Washington DC and now living in the bustling metropolis of LA, he ditched the day job and locked himself away for two years to write songs.
His debut album is due on fierce panda next February, and if the single is anything to go by it’s going to be littered with miniscule gems that simultaneously manage to evoke a sense of expansive wonder – peppered with twinkles and hooks and decidedly lofi in origin, there’s something grand about this otherwise humble and restrained offering that hints at hidden depths to be explored.
‘Only Names’ will be available to download via In Stereo Records on 15th December 2014.
