Whilst the rest of the announcements are winding down for the festive season and the unstoppable flow of email dies down to a blissful trickle, the 2015 festival schedule waits for no man – this week is no different, with an avalanche of news updates from some of the best festival’s that the UK and Europe have to offer…

On Blackheath 2015

OnBlackheath festival, in partnership with John Lewis, is set to make a very exciting return next year on the weekend of Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 September 2015. Over 25,000 festivalgoers attended the first ever food and music festival that took place in Blackheath, London, in September 2014, with memorable headline slots from Massive Attack, Frank Turner and Grace Jones. The weekend proved to be a rousing triumph of incredible music and innovative immersive food experiences. The line-up for 2015 will be unveiled soon.

Ramblin’ Man Fair 2015

This brand new festival is delighted to announce further acts to join the already impressive bill at Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent over the weekend of 25th and 26th July 2015. Saturday 25th will see an Outlaw Country Stage that will include Shoot Jennings and Hayseed Dixie, whilst Sunday 26th will see a Blues Stage that will include Joanne Shaw Taylor and Aaron Keylock. More acts for all stages are set to be announced soon.

Trondheim Metal Fest 2015

Celebrating its sixth year in business, Trondheim Metal Fest have announced October 1st – 3rd 2015 as the dates for the upcoming festival, which will once again appear at the Clarion Hotel in Trondheim, Norway. The first bands to be announced for the festival include Finnish folk metallers Korpiklaani, Irish black metallers Primordial, British thrashers Evile, German thrashers Tankard, Greek black metal legends Rotting Christ, Norwegian metallers Circus Maximus, legendary Swedish rockers Crucified Barbara & German artist Mambo Kurt.

Sziget Festival 2015

Eight months before the start of the 2015 Island of Freedom, the Szitizen community is already shaping up, as more than 10% of the available passes have been sold. Sziget Festival takes place on a beautiful island in the heart of Budapest between 10-17 August 2015. The festival holiday of 2014 ended with a record weekly Szitizen crowd of 415,000 punters who arrived from more than 85 countries to party on Óbuda Island in Budapest.

Common People Festival 2015

Hellfest 2015

The second wave of bands have been confirmed for HELLFEST in Clisson, France and added to their already outstanding line up are heavy metal masters MASTODON, our fellow Brits in COCK SPARRER and of course, Phil Anselmo will as usual be in Clisson for the event, but this time he’ll be with SUPERJOINT RITUAL. Next year, Hellfest welcomes you on 19th, 20th and 21st of June 2015 with new surprises, to blow out the candle for their 10th anniversary.

BoomTown Fair 2015

The full throttle, immersive event has just released their first headliner and new stage plans for the DownTown part of the Fair in the first two parts of an ingenious three part series of short films that put the ever evolving storyline of the BoomTown Chronicles centre stage. In this introduction to Chapter 7, part one hinted at plans for the ‘biggest build BoomTown has ever seen’ and part two, released today, saw the first act for this ‘epic new centrepiece’ announced as acclaimed Drum & Bass trio Noisia. The final part of the Chapter 7 introduction trilogy is due to be released mid-January and will give even more hints to what can be expected from the brand new ‘Palace’ stage.
