Cult singer-songwriter John Otway is plugging his new Christmas track ‘OK Father Christmas’ this year and has decided to give fans the chance to win a trip to Lapland.
Although his first single, “Gypsy”/”Misty Mountain” was released in 1972, Otway shot to fame on the back of punk rock and a gymnastic performance on The Old Grey Whistle Test.
In a statement on his website, Otway commented:
“I recently travelled to Finnish Lapland with www.theaurorazone.com to film the video for my Christmas Hit Ok Father Christmas. Due to the expense of shipping, we left the Sinclair C5 in Lapland and now, it is lonely and needs company.
So, we are offering you the chance to visit it on a 3-night trip for two people to Menesjarvi. The holiday includes: flights, transfers, 3 nights’ accommodation, full board, a husky safari and a reindeer safari as well as the possibility of seeing the amazing Northern Lights.
Regards, thanks and a very merry Christmas
