Track of the Day: Hellions

You know how sick we get of all the crap scene bands we’re deluged with? Well, it looks like finally a few rock record labels might be taking a chance on some fresh new talent if Sydney hardcore trio Hellions are a sign of things to come.

The three piece have today released ‘Creasy’ – the first track taken from their incendiary second album ‘Indian Summer’ which is set for release on February 2nd on UNFD Records. Part punk-rock rebellion, part hardcore beatdown, a dash of operatics and some visceral vocal work.

“‘Creasy’ is about hedonistic excess and its cognitive consequence; the incongruous duality of the fearful and fearsome within one,” says guitarist Matt Gravolin.
