Introducing: Gilmore Trail

Sheffield based post-rock quartet Gilmore Trail have announced they will be releasing a new album ‘The Floating World’ this year.

You can stream a taster of their atmosheric new material in the form of the majestically swelling and grandiose ‘Memories of Redfern’ below – fans of Sigur Rós and Explosions in The Sky are going to find plenty to enjoy in their gargantuan, instrumental soundscapes that ebb and flow organically and dramatically.

Always seeking to expand what the band would call their “sonic reach”, their nature-inspired opuses vibrate and hum with life injected from their enormous range of diverse musical influences.
