Fresh Chops: Novella

Here’s a beautiful new track from newcomers Novella – ‘Land Gone’ is taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘Land’ which is released on 11th May via Sinderlyn.

Far from the downtempo stoned psychedelia that’s currently doing the rounds, Novella specialise in a racier, sexier and altogether more vibrant take on the 60’s – a bit more like we imagine they actually were. Yno, fun.

Recorded in an abandoned clothing factory-turned-studio in Dalston (don’t let that put you off, though it is an admittedly stomach churning sentence…has anyone seen Nathan Barley cycling past?) it’s an absolute joy from start to finish, check it out here:
