Introducing: Stearica

Oh hi amazing new guitar band, we’ve been looking for you! Stearica are ticking all the right boxes for us today on this brand new track ‘Halite’ – part Battles, part ASIWYFA, all kinds of wonderful.

This very promising Italian instrumental trio are releasing their new record ‘Fertile’ on 13th April via the very awesome Monotreme Records (65daysofstatic, Sleepmakeswaves).

Musically interesting, melodic yet heavy, wonderfully and almost tribally rhythmic and even (dare we say it) a little bit sexual? Must be the Italian genes…

Produced by band member Francesco Carlucci, the record goes a long way to capturing the primordial nature of the sound that the trio create in their dynamic live performances.
