Introducing: Cairobi

Cairobi are streaming a new track called ‘Please’ today, taken from their forthcoming debut EP Distant Fire which due out via Week Of Wonders on 23rd February.

Rattling rifle-shots of drums interplay beautifully with vocal loops on this new mellower offering that marks an interesting meeting point for avantgarde and pop, hinting at a potential capacity for one of those festival moments.

A multi-national five-piece hailing from Austria, Italy, Mexico and France, Cairobi are now based in London, with the announcement of a free live show at Camden’s The Stillery on 4th March, alongside London rockers Fiction.

The ‘Distant Fire’ EP is out 23rd February.
