Introducing: Albert Gold

Fancy some nostalgia-tinged soul pop today with a huge chorus and loads of emotional feels in the vein of All Saints’ smash hit Pure Shores? What a stupid question, of course you do.

Hackney soul man ALBERT GOLD returns with ‘Into The Wild’, his second single, which you can check out below. An alumni of the British Academy Of New Music in downtown Stratford, his melodic, hooky pop has drawn comparisons with Luther Vandross and Frank Ocean, but there’s more of the unashamed joyful pop of the 90s about Mr. Gold than the overly sincere nu-soul that Ocean and friends are peddling.

The track is the third release as part of fierce panda’s cunningly resurrected one-off singles ‘project’ and ‘Into The Wild’ is available on download and beer mat on March 16th, with the video seeing Gold make a break for it at Suffolk’s lost seaside town of Felixstowe. It cost £250 and a bag of chips to make – back of the net.

Albert Gold launches ‘Into The Wild’ with a live show on MARCH 11TH DALSTON BIRTHDAYS (w/ Stay Bless)
