Re-introducing: Mt. Wolf

Re-introducing: Mt. Wolf

Not many people would walk away from a burgeoning career following their dreams in the music industry, but in the case of Mt. Wolf that’s exactly what happened.

Former singer Kate Sproule left a band that had rounded out 2013 as one of the most-blogged about artists (their Soundcloud had logged over 1 million plays), with radio spins and a spot on the UK Blog Sound of 2014 list alongside the likes of Marika Hackman and Wolf Alice putting them in prime position for lift off.

Having spent most of 2014 on hiatus and persuing other musical projects, their reappearance in late 2014 was something of a surprise to all. Whilst new material might find this now trio of Londoners picking through embers of a personal nature, 2015 finds Mt. Wolf unmistakeably rejuvenated, re-focused, and ripe for success once more.

Their new ‘Red’ EP is due out on April 13 2015 through London tastemaker label X Novo, and flanked by a live headline at London’s Cecil Sharp House on April 15.
