Beggars Arkive Announce mccluskyism On Vinyl for Record Store Day

JESUS CHRIST BEGGARS ARKIVE ARE RELEASING A MCCLUSKY VINYL FOR RECORD STORE DAY.

Ahem. Sorry about that. It’s pretty good news though right? It’s probably the best thing that’s ever happened in music, really.

In 2006, too pure released mcluskyism, a lasting testament to one of the most under-rated UK bands of recent years – mclusky. Since they disbanded in early 2005, their legendary status has only grown.

The 12 tracks that comprise the A-sides of mcluskyism are now being released on vinyl for the first time ever on Record Store Day – 18 April, via a single, limited edition, one time pressing only album featuring new cover art.

To date, there are few around that share mclusky’s musicianship, graft and humor. This album is a reminder of just how sorely missed mclusky are.

Colour us fucking ecstatic.

Track listing:

Side 1:
Joy, Rice Is Nice, Whoyouknow, Lightsabre Cocksucking Blues, To Hell With Good Intentions, Alan Is A Cowboy Killer

Side 2: There Ain’t No Fool In Ferguson, 1956 And All That, Undress For Success, That Man Will Not Hang, She Will Only Bring You Happiness, Without Msg I Am Nothing
