Introducing: Mutiny on The Bounty

Just about steering clear of any Jimmy Saville references, this new video from Mutiny on The Bounty is surely proof that these guitar wizards from Luxembourg know a thing or two about penning a belting math-rock tune?

‘MKL JKSN’ is the perfect introduction to the band’s new album ‘Digital Tropics’ due out May 23rd, with reverb soaked and groove-infused staccato melodies from the guitars dancing around a technical and mechanically intricate rhythm section.

On the subject of the new album the band comment, “Digital Tropics” encompasses all the facets of our personalities going from rock, to electro and more varied influences such as 80’s pop or even hip-hop. It gives a wider range of emotions and we believe that it’s a powerful album. We’re really proud of this album and can’t wait to share it with everyone.”

Landing somewhere between the caustic jarring math of Adebisi Shank and the deranged whirl of Battles’ synthetic pop, this track marks them out as one step removed from your average math-rockers.

In other words, it’s a fucking belter.
