Track of the Day: Otherkin – Ay Ay
Our track of the day comes in the form of this roaringly good grunge-pop single ‘Ay Ay’ from the new Dublin four-piece Otherkin, out on April 3rd.
It’s the first in a series of releases from the band, who are barely a year old and have already been hitting stages with the likes of Parquet Courts and Palma Violets.
Like the frenzied love child of Julian Casablancas, Dandy Warhols and The Hives, this swaggering numbers ripples with energy and channels New York cool better than most of the Yanks can manage.
