Video of the day: Stealing Sheep – Not Real
Stealing Sheep are back with a video for their new single ‘Not Real’ and its a closer look at their complex live performances which sheds some light on the trio’s creative process.
A jumble of sample pads, keyboards, slide guitars and drums sprawls out in front of the Liverpool threesome who deftly pick their way between instruments whilst layering lush vocals over this subtle, driving track.
Typical of material from their forthcoming new album, this synth heavy number feels like a natural progression of their sound, leaning less and less away from their Cosmic Scouse beginnings and towards something a little bolder, more mature and more interesting.
Not Real will be released 13th April on Heavenly Recordings.
