Ones To Watch 2015: Beach Slang

What makes a band cool? Well, not giving a fuck about whether you’re cool or not always helps – that’s something that Beach Slang seem to have nailed first time around and if new track ‘All Fuzzed Out’ is anything to go by you’ll be hearing a lot more from them throughout the course of this year.

Their incessantly hip brand of slacker-tinged rock shrugs it’s way along like The Fonz after a Dexedrine binge – if they were any more laid back, they might be horizontal. Luckily, their live show is a much more energetic proposal and rocks seven shades of hell out of basement venues. We dig it.

The Philadelphia based three piece have announced their debut UK release and tour in the form of new album ‘Broken Thrills’ which compiles onto a single LP their first two 7″ singles; Cheap Thrills On A Dead End Street and Who Would Ever Want Something So Broken?

The record will be released via Big Scary Monsters (La Dispute, Gnarwolves, Minus The Bear) on 27th April and is available to pre-order via www.bsmrocks.com on three different vinyl variants.

Fresh off a full US tour with Cursive, the band make their first ever trip to Europe in May, including a handful of shows supporting Knapsack in Europe, before a short headline run in the UK.
