Introducing: Queen Kwong

LA newcomer Queen Kwong, aka Carré Callaway, hasn’t had a bad leg up to the start of her musical career. Discovered by Nine Inch Nails man Trent Resnor, her live band also contains a certain Mr Wes Borland of face-painted Limp Bizkit fame.

There’s massive buzz around Carré and the band who are this weekend’s Great Escape Festival’s big tip and also appear at Reading and Leeds Festival this year.

With a sold out 4 show residency in London earlier this year showcasing the quartet’s visceral sound that is fast becoming their trademark, we were suitably impressed with the raw and raunchy swagger of new single ‘Cold Daggers’ which you can check out here:
