Guest playlist: KYTES – Summer 2015
We caught up with Munich quartet KYTES to find out what’s on their summer playlist this year as they released their debut single ‘Inner Cinema’ earlier this week. Over to you boys…
1.Jamie XX – Loud Places
One of our favourite tracks right now. We highly recommend listening to the entire Jamie XX Album. We’re looking forward to see Jamie live at Melt Festival.
2.Everything Everything – Distant Past
We love the energy in this song, Jonathan Higgs is such a unique and cool singer.
3.Glass Animals – Pools
Really groovy tune, we like listening to Pools when we’re on our bikes to the rehearsal room.
4.Saint Raymond – Young Blood (RAC Remix)
A great new remix by RAC. Also check RAC’s new tune “Back of the Car”
5.Temples – Mesmerise
We love the guitar riff. Turn up the volume on this one.
6.Roosevelt – Night Moves
Roosevelt is a really cool artist from Cologne, we dig his new tune.
7.Ratatat – Cream On Chrome
Finally a new Ratatat song, Michael our singer always sings new melodies over their songs, as their are instrumentals.
8.Kendrick Lamar – King Kuta
Our favourite HipHop track of this year. Monster groove.
9.Tame Impala – Let It Happen
Tame Impala are just great, almost eight minutes long so just take a break from whatever you’re doing right now and listen.
10.Leon Bridges – Coming Home
A perfekt end to our summer playlist. There is such much Soul and Blues in Leon’s tune.
