PVRIS Release Video For Fire

PVRIS have released another new video for ‘Fire’ which will be released on 7th August in the lead up to their UK festival appearances.

Lynn Gunn describes the video as ‘”Fire is hot. We got to break a bunch of shit and it felt so good.”

This follows hot on the heals of the Billboard premiere of “Holy,” directed by Raul Gonzo (Thom Yorke) which has gained over 100,000 views to date and follows previous PVRIS videos “My House” (which has more than 2.6 million YouTube views), “St. Patrick” (over 1.9 million views) and the recently released “Poltergeist”-inspired “White Noise” video (which premiered on Nylon and is just south of a million views). All songs appear on the White Noise album, which re-entered The Billboard 200 recently.

The Boston-based trio (vocalist Lynn Gunn, guitarist Alex Babinski and bassist Brian MacDonald) have been performing all four tracks as part of their show-stealing set on this year’s Warped Tour, where they’re one of the famed road show’s biggest draws. In their review of a recent west coast stop, LA Weekly described PVRIS as “Skrillex meets Paramore” and called Gunn a star, a sentiment echoed by the Huffington Post, who described her as “a force that cannot be denied.”

Buzzfeed spotlighted the group as one of “28 Underrated Musical Artists You Should Be Listening To Right Now,” MTV called them “our fave band” and advised “fans of The Neighbourhood, CHVRCHES and Paramore” to “get acquainted with the mysteriously awesome PVRIS before they become the biggest thing in rock.”

The band just did an amazing cover of Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” for BBC Radio 1, played a special show at The Studio at Webster Hall in NY, which sold out 60 seconds after tickets went on sale, and released a stunning cover of Sia’s “Chandelier.” The band recently won ‘Best International Band’ at this years Kerrang! Awards.

After the Warped Tour, the band will join the likes of Mumford & Sons, Metallica, Kendrick Lamar, Deadmau5, Run The Jewels, Mastodon, Charli XCX and more on this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals, then head to Australia for a string of dates with Circa Survive.
