Here’s a beautiful little video from Owl & Mouse for their quaint and sentimental new lofi alt-folk single ‘Misfits’ to bring a little love into your Friday.
Led by Australian songwriter Hannah Botting, the video was filmed on the train between Bergen and Volda, and then at the Indiefjord Festival at Bjorke, Norway.
Singer and ukulele player, Hannah Botting, says of the track: “This is an old song that took a different shape after a visit to my hometown. It’s about the relationship I have with my siblings, how every time I’m with them I’m surprised by how similar we are and how we all feel and think the same things.”
Owl & Mouse began life as a sister act, with Hannah and Jen Botting, before expanding after recording their last EP, to include Tom Wade (We Aeronauts) and the prolific pairing of Emma Winston and Dan Mayfield (Enderby’s Room, Darren Hayman’s Long Parliament).
