Live session: DELTA SLEEP – Strongthany
Following a summer of festival appearances, Brighton’s Delta Sleep have revealed a special live session video for ‘Strongthany’ – the latest track to be taken from their debut album ‘Twin Galaxies’ which is out now via Big Scary Monsters Recording Company.
The band will hit the road throughout October and November on newly announced UK and EU headline tour dates taking in Spain, France and Italy promoting the new record.
Front man Devin Yuceil comments on the session:
“The video was filmed and recorded in the same space we tracked our first ever album ‘Twin Galaxies’. It’s a converted warehouse in Tottenham that our awesome producer Tom Le Beau Morley lives and works from. The idea for this live video was that we had some spare coloured sheets left over from our ‘Lake Sprinkle Sprankle’ music video, and we thought they would make an awesome backdrop for a live performance.
‘Strongthany’ is the closing track on ‘Twin Galaxies’, ending on a massive build-up of dreamy melodies and evocative gang vocals. The song has two very distinct halves to it – the first being very tight and jagged and the second being more loose and floaty. The whole first half of the video is contained within the coloured backdrop, but as the song releases, the camera moves outside of the frame to reveal our 4-man-gang chanting the last chorus with us.”
