Track of the Day: FAUX – Swimmingly

Track of the day today comes from Southampton dirty-pop band FAUX who have just revealed the video for their new single ‘Swimmingly’, which is available for download now.

Taking influence from the likes of Brand New and Manchester Orchestra, ‘Swimmingly’ shows Faux at their jittery and excitable best, as it merges the anthemic choruses of Jimmy Eat World with the bounce-laden pop of Don Broco and the noodly guitar gymnastics of Coheed & Cambria.

We likey, we likey a lot. Anyone who can get away with the lyric “doo dah den dee” and actually make it sound good deserves all the praise they can get.
