Track of the Day: False Heads – Steal and Cheat
There’s more than a whiff of The Libertines about today’s track of the day, but maybe that should come as no surprise seeing as the band in questions have just signed to Gary Powell’s label 25 Hour Convenience Store.
In our eyes, False Heads have already proven their credentials on their endlessly infectious and anthemic new single ‘Steal and Cheat’, out on December 4th 2015.
Taking the best of Barat and Doherty’s tight-jeaned swagger and mixing it up with a healthy dose of snot-nosed punk spirit á la The Clash on ‘I Fought The Law’, theThe East London trio have hit the nail squarely on the head with this Saturday night anthem in the making.
False Heads will follow up ‘Steal and Cheat’ with a brand new EP, as well as announcing touring plans, in early 2016 – for now you can catch them live at the dates below.
