Introducing: The TiPS

Reggae music from Dusseldorf, Germany? Not the sound that most people would associate with the city. Maybe it’s time to meet German reggae punks The TiPS, who have just announced the details of their new album ‘TWISTS’N’TURNS’. The record will be released through Long Beach Records Europe on the 19th February 2016.

To celebrate the announcement, the band have shared their new video for the lead single ‘Birds In Trees’, featuring Benji Webbe of Skindred which you can watch in full below.

Beginning their musical journey in the German underground punk scene and immediately introducing elements of cozy reggae along with smooth soul into their hard driving punk songs, it was a process which created their unique sound and style.

THE TiPS have played over 130 shows in the last two years, headlining their own tours whilst also supporting acts such as The Mad Caddies, Die Rakede, Ruts D.C., The Toasters and Jaya the Cat.
