Liverpool International Music Festival 2016

LIMF returns for its fourth outing this year celebrating Liverpool’s musical pedigree, diversity and heritage on a global scale. Taking place from Thursday 21st – Sunday 24th July 2016, highlights include a curated live show by BBC 6 Music’s Gilles Peterson called ‘From The Soul’; a celebration of Liverpool’s counter-culture over the last 40 years with ’76-16: From Eric’s To Evol’; and ‘House Nation’ where renowned Liverpool-based DJ and Producer Yousef will explore what defines house music in four international cities.

LIMF Summer Jam returns with a three-day FREE outdoor music celebration featuring its best line-up to date including: Sigma, The Wombats, Lianne La Havas, Kwabs, Netsky, Ms Dynamite, Maverick Sabre, a very special Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra Friday evening performance and much more.

HEVY Fest 2016

Annual Glasswerk faves HEVY Fest have announce their first wave of bands, continuing the re-invigoration of one of the UK’s most exciting small festivals. With both headliners still to come, announced already are: punk titans REFUSED, technical metal frontrunners SIKTH, metalcore heavyweights WHILE SHE SLEEPS and instrumental legends ANIMALS AS LEADERS.

They join unique grime-metal outfit Hacktivist, Gnarwolves, Krokodil, No Consequence, Devil Sold His Soul, Forever Never, Vukovi, Murdock, and When Our Time Comes. All of this PLUS two headliners still to come? Stay tuned for more massive band announcements in the coming weeks.

Camp Bestival 2016

Kicking off 2016 in astronomic fashion, Team CB are set to dispel the January blues with a cavalcade of cosmic treats that will keep rocketeers and space people dancing all weekend long this coming July 28-31. Joining their previously announced headliners Fatboy Slim, Tears for Fears and Jess Glynne, and Aliens Love Underpants, Dick and Dom and Mr Tumble are:

Katy B, KT Tunstall, Squeeze, Arrested Development, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Bananarama, DJ Yoda, Jamie Lawson, Turin Brakes, Brand New Heavies, Loyle Carner, Dawn Penn, The Cuban Brothers, Duke Special and plenty more small attractions.
